GE Getting Back into the TV Biz

September 23rd, 2008 | Category: John C Dvorak,tech5
Android phone news never-ending. I’m sick of it. Hadron Collider shut down until the Spring because it is too cold in Switzerland. Email hacker continues. Creative Suite 4 rolled out by Adobe. GE getting back into the TV business with Internet-ready TV with Blu-ray. Xohm to roll out in Baltimore. I’m baffled about sharing books online. Lots more blog according to experts. Passport snoop might be thrown in jail. Windows 7 getting a head start on ruination. Cell phones to be recycled. Start-up helps your find what you are not looking for. What? I already get that. tech5

Cows line up North and south. Why? Mac Clone company for sale. People do not want VOIP on airplanes. Everyone going to game conferences. Gold farming worth $500 million. People not ready for digital TV. Is Google giving up the free food? tech5

July 01st, 2008 | Category: John C Dvorak,tech5
Did Steve Ballmer say Bill Gates created the IBM PC? Is he high?. Meanwhile the company is battling VM-ware, Orbitz to replace Expedia on MSN. IPO’s in the doldrums. When did the full-frame camera become hot? The semantic search is a dead-end, says I. Adobe gives Yahoo and Google special flash search code. Samsung Instinct handset is hot. Dell Engaged in Fraud Says Judge

May 27th, 2008 | Category: John C Dvorak,tech5
Holiday blues. Dell busted in NYC — found guilty of misleading advertising, abuse debt collection, etc. Terrible. No new kernel for Windows 7. Also it will not be out until at least the end of 2010 NOT next year as Gates promised. Creative Suite 4 on track. Centrino 2 delayed. Bad radios and bad graphics to blame. FiOS coming to NYC meaning Verizon is now in the TV business. tech5
